Join us for a AIDS Survivor Celebration!
On June 5, 1981, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published its first report in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) about a rare lung infection, Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (PCP), in five young, otherwise healthy men in Los Angeles. This report is considered the starting point of the official documentation of the AIDS epidemic. Now, 44 years later in 2025, we celebrate those who are here, remember the loss of those who came before, and strive for a cure. Join us on Thursday, July 17th for a rescheduled event from 6-8pm at 2829 Euclid Avenue. We will have food and music from the Line Dance King Robert Johnson Jr., as well as the Cloud 9 Jazz Quintet.
All are welcome, entry is free!

Join us for “Produce to People”, an open to the public event with fresh produce for all who come! Please come to the Taskforce parking lot every third Wednesday of the month to participate. We are open while supplies last. Please come and bring your friends!
